The Mobile Media 2007 conference will be held in the Veterinary Science Conference Centre, University of Sydney.

The Veterinary Science Conference is a modern conference facility located in Regimental Crescent, on the main (or Camperdown) campus of the University of Sydney. It is 150 metres from Parramatta Road (at the corner of Ross Street) -- and so can be reached by one of the many buses travelling from the city centre. It is only a short taxi cab ride from Central Railway Station (also about a half-hour walk).

The University of Sydney, founded in 1850, is Australia's first university. Over the past 150 years, the University has built an international reputation for its outstanding teaching and as a centre of research excellence.

As one of Australia's leading universities, the University of Sydney is a key member of the Group of Eight of Australia's major research intensive universities and the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) . For the past four years, Sydney has led the nation in winning competitive funding from the Australian Research Council (ARC) . The University has nine of the Federal government's 49 prestigious Federation Fellowships and performs strongly in research conducted collaboratively with industry. The Mobile Media 2007 conference is hosted by the innovative Department of Media and Communications, part of the School of Letters, Art and Media, in the Faculty of Arts.
